Coronavirus (COVID-19) General Update 10/07/2020

The Coronavirus continues to take a toll on the world and make life more challenging for all.  Atrium Centers Inc. is fully committed to maintaining all services critical to the welfare of our residents, their families and visitors. Our employees are working round the clock to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.  We are receiving regular updates and advisories from public health agencies, and are in routine contact with them.  Atrium Centers’ employees have been diligent in implementing and following all new guidelines despite the information and conditions changing by the minute.

I would like to thank all of our families and friends for your patience and diligence in assisting us in our new protocols and policies.  I know that we all wish that this was over, but unfortunately it seems that many of our new protocols for preventing exposure to COVID-19 will be our new normal.   I would like to once again recognize our fantastic employees. They have taken all of the changes in stride and have been working extensive hours in order to keep our patients and each other safe. They are extremely dedicated, hard-working, and compassionate.   I am so very proud of how resilient and committed they have been to our communities during this challenging time. When you see them, please join me in sharing your appreciation for their hard work (from a distance of course).

 You may have heard that many of the states we have communities in are easing their restrictions on visitors.  While we have concerns about visitation, we certainly want our patients to stay in close touch with their families and friends. There will be state-specific requirements for visitation and they will be strictly enforced.  Requirements will vary by state depending on what is currently going on in each community related to COVID-19. Visitation requirements could change by day.  For detailed information on the most current visitation requirements, please contact the facility administrator directly. We ask for your continued patience and understanding, as well as compliance in following our guidelines. The Coronavirus has not gone away and the number of incidences will continue to rise as the country eases its overall restrictions and opens up communities. This certainly makes managing the spread of infection more challenging for everyone. We highly suggest that if you plan to visit your loved one that you refrain from going out in the community to keep your potential for exposure as minimal as possible.  This is so important as we continue to protect your loved one in our community and our staff.

We sincerely hope that these restrictions will end soon and we will keep you updated as circumstances change.

Fountains Transitional Care Center is a state-of-the-art post-acute skilled nursing and rehabilitation community located in Sharonville just outside of the Cincinnati metropolitan area.The new transitional care community features 54 luxury, well-appointed post-acute/short term rehab suites with spacious living space and private bathrooms. 

The multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals are committed to providing personalized service and quality of care beyond compare to patients of all ages who are recovering from recent surgeries, as well as those facing medical illnesses or chronic diseases. Our guests will enjoy fine dining at one of the two upscale bistros and feel the warmth of the community gathering areas during their stay. Patients and family members will also be able to relax in the outdoor patios and well-manicured gardens.

Our exceptional clinical staff will provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. The full range of services provided will focus on restoring the quality of life to our patients and enable them to reach the highest level of independence possible with the goal of returning to home.
